R. Kirk McPike

Founder & Principal

Kirk McPike has spent two decades working in politics and government, including more than 13 years on the Hill as Chief of Staff to Congressman Mark Takano. Kirk has deep connections across the House, including leading members and staff of the Progressive Caucus, the Congressional Equality Caucus, and key committees including the Committees on Veterans’ Affairs and Education and the Workforce.

Kirk possesses an unusually broad perspective built on experience as a senior congressional staff, a manager of multiple campaigns, a policy advocate, and an elected official at the local and state levels.

Across these roles he has built a track record in political targeting, legislative strategy, and political and policy communication, the disciplines that turn intention into outcome in Washington.
